Solve Customer’s Concerns
This is our old customer, but this is the first time he asked us about Satellite alloy products. The price of Satellite alloy itself is relatively high, so we suggest that customers save procurement costs by optimizing the size.
At the beginning, the customer asked us to provide a relatively large plate, and it would be further processed on the basis of this plate. For this reason, we proposed to directly provide a relatively small plate, which not only saves transportation costs, but also saves customers the cost of subsequent cutting of plates.
The customer gladly accepted our proposal and gave us their final finished product size. Based on this size, we found that they actually needed a Disk. If so, they would need to cut the square material into a circle later, which not only has processing costs, but also causes huge material waste.
Therefore, we finally proposed to provide them with Disks directly. Although the unit price will increase, it is far less than the cost saved for them in the end. The customer is very satisfied with this plan.
Would you also be able to give me a price on Satellite 6B Plate?
May I know the final using dimensions of this material? Maybe we can come up with a more reasonable solution and divide the big plate into smaller sized plates. This also facilitates your subsequent processing.
We are getting these parts waterjet cut out of the plate at 4.5” O.D. As long as we can still get that many parts the actual plate sizes don’t matter so if you need to make smaller plates that’s fine. Let me know.
Thanks a lot for your feedback. Today we propose: 82 pieces of disk with size Φ115.8×26.9mm. You can also cut it to the final size with this solution, and the material waste is smaller. Although this method is more expensive in unit price, the total price is much lower.
I think the disks will be our better option on this for sure. Would we be able to up the quantity to 90? That was the about the estimated amount off of the original plate size.
Thanks for your confirmation. There is no problem in increasing the quantity. It might allow me to apply for a lower unit price. We will update you tomorrow.

Price Term
Delivered Duty Unpaid
DDU means we need to transport the materials to the customer's city by air and deliver them to the door by local transportation. We need to be responsible for all transportation, customs declaration and insurance. The only thing the customer needs to do is to pay the customs duties. This payment term greatly reduces the trouble for customers and also makes the risk of customers lower.
Logistics
Air Freight
The customer's demand for this material is urgent, so we chose air transport. We used a high-density packaging method and split the package to save the customer's shipping costs to the greatest extent.
