Overview
As a leading supplier & manufacturer in China, AEETHER supply cost-effective Monel 502 Products.
Monel 502™ is a nickel-copper alloy. It can be machined similar to that of austenitic stainless steels. It can be formed using conventional techniques and can be welded using conventional methods.
Monel 502™ reacts to heat treatment and annealing. It is annealed at 1038°C (1900°F) followed by quenching in water and it is forged at 1010 to 1149°C (1850 to 2100°F) followed by quenching in water. Monel 502™ is hot worked at 872 to 1149°C (1600 to 2100°F). It can be cold worked using conventional methods.
Monel 502™ is aged at temperatures ranging from 594 to 608°C (1100 to 1125°F) followed by cooling in a furnace.
Applications
Monel 502™ is used in the following applications:
- Fasteners
- Pump shafting
- Propeller shafts
- Valve components
