On July 11, 2024, we supplied a batch of Inconel 617 seamless tubes to our German customer. The customer confirmed this order 2 years before finalizing it. Since the material was used for experiments, the customer asked us to issue an EN 10204/3.2 certificate to ensure that the performance of the material meets the requirements. In the end, we successfully obtained the EN 10204/3.2 certificate and gave the customer a satisfactory delivery.

Solve Customer’s Concerns
Our default quotation currency is USD, price term is FOB Shanghai, and we provide EN10204/3.1 certificate for free. To this end, the customer made many special requests.
First, we have our own Euro account, so we changed the currency to Euro according to the customer's request. Secondly, the customer wanted us to arrange the transportation, so we changed the terms to CIF. Finally, in order to make the customer sure that we provide qualified products, we promised the customer that we would issue EN 10204/3.2 certificate.
Finally, our products passed all third-party on-site inspections and successfully obtained EN 10204/3.2 certificates.
Would it be possible to change the currency from USD in EUR?

I’m missing the material certificates according to EN 10204 3.1. Could you please add them including the cost.
No problem. 3.1 Certificate is free. And it's our standard procedure. Only 3.2 certificate requires cost.

CIF requires us to not only help customers complete the transportation, but also be responsible for purchasing insurance during the transportation process. For this term, customers only need to be responsible for customs clearance at the destination.
Logistics
Sea Freight
The length of the pipeline is 6 meters, which is far beyond the range of air transport. Therefore, we can only use sea transportation. Fortunately, the customer does not have an urgent need. Sea transportation is a more cost-effective way.
