Since this material requires subsequent processing in the United States, the customer asked us to provide black bars. Our engineers carefully calculated the allowance for the diameter. In this way, we were able to guarantee the finished size of the material while minimizing costs for the customer.

Hastelloy X is a relatively uncommon material. Therefore, we understand our customer's concerns about the chemical composition. For this reason, we hosted a friend of the customer in China to inspect the material. In the end, the material passed the inspection.

The material is currently being smelted. May I know the size of your finished product after machining? If the final size is 177.8mm and 127mm. Then we will forge the material to 185mm and 135mm diameter to guarantee the finished size. Please kindly confirm.

The finish dimensions are 6.75” (171.45 mm) & 4.95” (125.73 mm). The sizes you are forging to will work great.
