MONEL® alloy K-500 (UNS N05500 / W.Nr. 2.4375) is a nickel-copper alloy which combines the excellent corrosion resistance of MONEL alloy 400 with the added advantages of greater strength and hardness. The increased properties are obtained by adding aluminum and titanium to the nickel-copper base.
Monel K-500 hexagon bar (hex bar, hexagonal bar) is a nickel alloy bar with a hexagon cross-section. Since it can be used as the raw material for many Monel K-500 fasteners (such as Monel K-500 screws, Monel K-500 nuts, etc.), it is also one of our most popular Monel K-500 bar products. We can provide hot-rolled, cold-drawn or forged Monel K-500 hexagon bars. The common finish of Monel K-500 hexagon bar is polished finish.
