INCONEL® alloy 718 (UNS N07718 / W.Nr. 2.4668) is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel chromium material used at -423° to 1300°F. The age-hardenable alloy can be readily fabricated, even into complex parts. Its welding characteristics, especially its resistance to postweld cracking, are outstanding.

Inconel 718 thick-walled pipe is a seamless, thick-walled Inconel 718 pipe. Compared with Inconel 718 seamless pipe, it not only inherits high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, but also has better high pressure resistance. Therefore, Inconel 718 thick-walled tubes are often used in high-pressure equipment. In the manufacturing process, due to the thicker wall thickness, cold rolling and cold drawing processes are no longer applicable, so the Inconel 718 thick-walled pipe is perforated and hot-rolled from Inconel 718 round bar.
