Incoloy 800H strip is specified in the ASTM standard for a final heat treatment temperature of 2050°F (1121°C) minimum. Additionally, for Incoloy 800H strip, the standard requires a grain size of ASTM No. 5 or croaser. This requires the manufacturer to have the technology to precisely control the grain size.
