Its high content of nickel results in thermal stability and resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Designated as UNS N08367, alloy 25-6HN directly competes with similar super-austenitic stainless steels.

Incoloy 25-6HN hot-rolled plates are generally nickel alloy sheets & plates products with a thickness more than 3mm - 5mm.
