HASTELLOY alloy G-3 (UNS N06985 / W.Nr. 2.4619) is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with additions of molybdenum and copper. Some of the minor elements are controlled to yield increased resistance to heataffected-zone (HAZ) corrosion and improved weldability. Alloy G-3 has excellent corrosion resistance to oxidizing chemicals and atmospheres.
Hastelloy G-3 hexagon bar (hex bar, hexagonal bar) is a nickel alloy bar with a hexagon cross-section. Since it can be used as the raw material for many Hastelloy G-3 fasteners (such as Hastelloy G-3 screws, Hastelloy G-3 nuts, etc.), it is also one of our most popular Hastelloy G-3 bar products. We can provide hot-rolled, cold-drawn or forged Hastelloy G-3 hexagon bars. The common finish of Hastelloy G-3 hexagon bar is polished finish.
