HASTELLOY® C-276 alloy (UNS N10276) was the first wrought, nickel-chromium-molybdenum material to alleviate concerns over welding (by virtue of extremely low carbon and silicon contents). As such, it was widely accepted in the chemical process and associated industries, and now has a 50-year-old track record of proven performance in a vast number of corrosive chemicals.

Hastelloy C-276 thick-walled pipe is a seamless, thick-walled Hastelloy C-276 pipe. Compared with Hastelloy C-276 seamless pipe, it not only inherits high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, but also has better high pressure resistance. Therefore, Hastelloy C-276 thick-walled tubes are often used in high-pressure equipment. In the manufacturing process, due to the thicker wall thickness, cold rolling and cold drawing processes are no longer applicable, so the Hastelloy C-276 thick-walled pipe is perforated and hot-rolled from Hastelloy C-276 round bar.
