HASTELLOY® C-2000® alloy (UNS N06200) is unique among the versatile nickel-chromium-molybdenum materials in having a deliberate copper addition. This provides greatly enhanced resistance to sulfuric acid. It also has a high chromium content, to maximize its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen.
Hastelloy C-2000 thick-walled pipe is a seamless, thick-walled Hastelloy C-2000 pipe. Compared with Hastelloy C-2000 seamless pipe, it not only inherits high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, but also has better high pressure resistance. Therefore, Hastelloy C-2000 thick-walled tubes are often used in high-pressure equipment. In the manufacturing process, due to the thicker wall thickness, cold rolling and cold drawing processes are no longer applicable, so the Hastelloy C-2000 thick-walled pipe is perforated and hot-rolled from Hastelloy C-2000 round bar.
