HASTELLOY® B-3® alloy (UNS N10675) exhibits extremely high resistance to pure hydrochloric, hydrobromic, and sulfuric acids. Furthermore, it has greatly improved structural stability compared with previous B-type alloys, leading to fewer concerns during welding, fabrication, and service.

Hastelloy B-3 thick-walled pipe is a seamless, thick-walled Hastelloy B-3 pipe. Compared with Hastelloy B-3 seamless pipe, it not only inherits high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, but also has better high pressure resistance. Therefore, Hastelloy B-3 thick-walled tubes are often used in high-pressure equipment. In the manufacturing process, due to the thicker wall thickness, cold rolling and cold drawing processes are no longer applicable, so the Hastelloy B-3 thick-walled pipe is perforated and hot-rolled from Hastelloy B-3 round bar.
